The Standard

Out of the box, a Nostr identity is a long cryptographic key like

Nostri.me uses a Nostr supported standard that maps your key to a human-readable address like
alice@nostri.me,
verified by a server that anyone can query. Nostri.me gives you an easy way to share your identity across the Nostr ecosystem and a verified checkmark in every app that supports the standard.

Getting started
How it works
Copy your public key
In your Nostr app, find your public key — it starts with npub1…. This is what links your chosen username to your identity.
Register your address
Enter a username and paste your public key on the Register page. Your address username@nostri.me is created immediately.
Set it in your Nostr app
Go to your profile settings in your Nostr app and enter your new address as your NIP-05 identifier. Apps will verify it automatically and display your checkmark.
